Greatspace Architects are very happy to announce the GRANT of planning permission for our Change of Use conversion project on Gosforth High Street, Newcastle upon Tyne.
The ‘High St Apartments’ will provide much needed high-end shared accommodation for the city centre. Flats above shops are an excellent way to put a lot of the city’s dead space to use.
We would like to thank Newcastle City Council in welcoming this innovative solution to making use of a redundant building within the Gosforth Conservation Area.
The client has kindly asked us to convert the existing storage building at the rear of the property into a modern-rustic ‘Hot Desk’ office development – watch this space!
